Hey, my name is Tate Henson, and I am from Franklin, Tennessee. Currently, my major is Marketing. I am beyond excited (and nervous) for the London experience with my fellow 26 GLSers. I am not sure what to expect, but I look forward to seeing awesome places and learning a ton. This will not feel real until January 9th when we board the plane.

Hello Followers! My Name is Heidi Faust and I am currently a Logistics major. I can't even express to you how thrilled I am to be a part of the Global Leadership Scholars program at UT and to be traveling to London in just ten short days! I feel so blessed to have received this opportunity to make incredible friends, while furthering our careers together as we are. While in London, I look forward to learning about the culture, traveling around Europe, and gaining experience working in a "big girl" job. To me, these are irreplaceable experiences. In the next few days I will be spending time with friends and family and attempting to pack for the next four months. I will miss them, especially my little niece you see in the photo, but I am eager to get across that pond! Cheerio!

Jianyin Roachell
Hi everyone! My name is Jian and currently majoring in Logistics. I don't know about y'all, but I am super stoked about this awesome trip to London. I hope I won't be in much of a cultural shock because I have previous experience with living in huge cities. I have high expectations of this trip. In London I hope to learn more about the British culture, at the same time, develop a network and connections through interactions in the local community. I have great expectations of my internship and hope to develop the skills i need to better my future career. In my spare time, I want to go to the nearby London School of Economics and listen to a few lectures. Since I have an interest in hiphop/breakdance, I would like to find a hiphop crew that I can practice with. Furthermore, I hope to enroll in Parkour classes and bring back a couple cool new moves I can show off to my buddies. This will be a semester to remember. Can't wait!
